Since 1958, Bard's has been a staple of the breathtaking beach town, La Jolla. Furnishing some of the greatest and brightest minds' houses - such as Dr. Seuss - this third-generation family business that emigrated from Germany has been infused with a new focus - Bettina's focus. In an effort to upgrade, modernize, and inspire (out with invoices hand-written on yellow lined paper), Bettina opened La Bella Figura by Bard's. Pulling from the German and Italian side of her family, she created a space where you can now come for custom furniture design or reupholstery while also grabbing tableware, an indulging gift for your girlfriend's fiftieth birthday, or silk linens.
